    Cars 2 (review)

    Warning: may contain spoilers

    I rated: 2/5 !

    Plot:
So this movie is a sequel to the 2006 movie about a racing superstar. This time around, Lightning Mcqueen comes back to radiator springs and finds himself agreeing to another race because of Mater's foolish call to challenge another race car. As they go to different cities around the world to race, Mater finds himself getting caught in  a spy situation and eventually, saving Lightning Mcqueen.

    A spy in the movie

    What I think:
    Totally a kid's movie. BOOOORING.
I love how the writer mixed espionage and racing together.
    Makes it lots of fun
But all in all, it did not spark any sort of emotion in me.
Not even the "adrenaline" i'm supposed to feel.

It took me alot to maintain concentration for this movie.
    ALOT.

    The story:
Most of the story is predictable but there was a twist at the end of it which is appreciated.
The story also involves the value of friendship, perfect for kids, boring for teens and adults.
    *yawns*

I believe it has a small magnetic power to keep kids interested but not for long.
Kids who would be interested are those who love cars, racing, spies and etc.

Certain parts are highly illogical but I wouldn't say more
It's cartoon, it's meant to be illogical.
Illogical enough to tickle our imagination

    The animation:
    The animation?
Oh come on, it's Pixar for pete's sake.
It's amazing how they could come up with such amazing animations.
    Beautiful sceneries + beautiful cars.

    *salute*

The attention to detail is amazing.
I can even see the cracks on the road, the windows in the furthest building and more.

    The characters:
    FIRSTLY, I love Mater.
I love how Mater is so idiotic and yet so loved.
I love how he's so carefree. Would love him to be mah friend. HEHE
He's like the symbol of silliness which i love.

The voice actors are amazing at how they portrayed Mater and other characters.
    Especially Mater's texas accent.
    COOL.

And hey, despite being silly, Mater got a new girlfriend !
First impression of her, "hot stuff"

    Summary:
    1.) As a young adult, I wouldn't watch it twice/more than 1 hour.
2.) The story is uninspiring and somehow messy.
3.) I only enjoyed Mater and the animation.

    n. the awareness of the smallness of your perspective, by which you couldn’t possibly draw any meaningful conclusions at all, about the world or the past or the complexities of culture, because although your life is an epic and unrepeatable anecdote, it still only has a sample size of one, and may end up being the control for a much wilder experiment happening in the next room.

    The person behind this blog

She is a 21 year-old awkwardly enthusiastic individual who loves the idea of photography and is constantly looking for opportunities to travel around the world.

She loves lounging the around the house watching TV shows and movies in her pajamas while sipping tea (English breakfast is the way to go).

If you wish to make her happy, buy her candy, but do not lure her into dark alleys with those. Also, she finds it stupid to refer to herself as a third person.
