Insadong was a beautiful, artistic place that I think anyone that enjoys a little twist in the daily life will enjoy. The architecture, food, souvenirs and even tea is creative! It is definitely a place I want to return to thoroughly explore once more.
The down side of this place is that the things sold are not cheap. Some of it were handmade and some were not, so i guess it's up to your discretion of how much money you are willing to spend. Some were really beautiful though, if i were rich, i'd get them. D:
Here's some pictures!
I really can't remember what this is about. Tea i guess?
The sad partial sign of "Insadong" in korean. Can't seem to get a full view of it.
Along the street were some really interesting architecture.
Like really interesting architecture, so much so that there's giraffes on the roof.
The thing I love about Koreans is that they have this culture of leaving notes where ever they can.
This is one of the places.
I love this hallway of an art gallery so much that I had to photograph it.
It's just so sleek and clean!
Meet the amazing tea shop where I thought I had the most amazing tea ever.
But the tea in there is like crazy OVERPRICED.
Although... they do let you try it.
Honestly one of the funniest food I've seen in my life. It's a biscuit like thing that they fill with cream.
It took me like 5-10 minutes to figure out what it was, whether it was edible, how the shop works and how much it is. Oh dear.
The finish the trip to insadong was a serving of Patbingsoo, Red Bed Shaved Ice.
I've developed a love for it, so much love.
