    Sothys Hydra-nourishing body lotion (Review)

Shocked from knowing that I am suddenly into reviewing body products.
Was never the type of cares for my own body until the recent years, probably because my hormones are killing me.

Thanks to the lack of care for my own body + hormones + Malaysia's burning hot weather, I have very dry skin now.
I know, it's depressing because a girl's skin should be always smooth and also because I love it being smooth.
Having dry skin actually makes me feel self-conscious. ):

Well, until recently I discovered this body lotion from Sothys

I actually love the packaging of it because it looks so simple but yet it still bear a symbol of beauty.
With that, I feel the need and urge to pamper myself with the contents (psychology at play here).

When I squeezed the contents out, I could not help but notice how light it is. Literally, light.
Some lotions give you this very heavy feeling in which is has a very high concentration or some may be too watery that it feels weird.
Maybe some people would enjoy the heavy or watery feeling but as for me, I think the light feeling/intermediate that I get makes me feel happier putting it on.
It would not feel as if something is weighing me down. (still, psychology at play but true story).

I don't know if you could see how light, but imagine it lah.
In this picture, it does not seem lumpy (i hate lumpy and hard lotions)
This lotion is also very smooth on the skin.
When applied, it does not take much effort to cover my body with it despite how dry my body is.
I tried the lotion on my elbow and surprisingly it worked ! Alot of other lotions has failed to make my elbows softer but this has worked. If I had more money, I would definitely splurge of this. Heh heh.

However, I do realize that the price of the lotion is a little high for just a bottle of lotion.
It is expensive but if you are willing to spend, it's definitely worth it.
Instead of spending on cheap lotions all the time, splurging on something that makes you feel good sometimes would be worth it.

As for me, splurging is not in my list of things to do yet, so i'm only using this lotion for my dry (rough like sandpaper) elbows.

    n. the awareness of the smallness of your perspective, by which you couldn’t possibly draw any meaningful conclusions at all, about the world or the past or the complexities of culture, because although your life is an epic and unrepeatable anecdote, it still only has a sample size of one, and may end up being the control for a much wilder experiment happening in the next room.

    The person behind this blog

She is a 21 year-old awkwardly enthusiastic individual who loves the idea of photography and is constantly looking for opportunities to travel around the world.

She loves lounging the around the house watching TV shows and movies in her pajamas while sipping tea (English breakfast is the way to go).

If you wish to make her happy, buy her candy, but do not lure her into dark alleys with those. Also, she finds it stupid to refer to herself as a third person.
