    Interstellar (2014)

"Do not go gentle into that good night, old age should burn and rage at close of day. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

I have been waiting for such a movie for a very long time, a movie that describes singularity almost so beautifully that I am left in awe. Honestly, Interstellar did better than that, it described singularity and combined it with the passion of space exploration, wormholes, black holes, love and every other mind blowing thing. Christopher Nolan, HATS OFF followed by major nerd tears.

Alright, so not all the facts are entirely accurate in the movie and the fact that the build up of the movie was slow, many lost interest before the interesting parts even began. However, it very much believe that it was the slow build up that eventually made everything understandable at the end. It educated us of everything that was about to happen. The best part about the plot (nearer towards the second half) was that it has a major climax along with many tiny little climaxes and build ups. Yes, that includes the death of Professor Brand (Micheal Caine or or Alfred from Batman). I was so heartbroken from seeing Alfred die. T.T

The script for this movie was amazing, from the beginning to the end. Especially when they managed to tie back the lines from the earlier parts of the movie to the ending, it made the slow build up totally worth it. The story was not just a one way thing, it reminds you to think back to the lines and plot before the actual big events and link it back to the present scenes. Totally amazeballs how well Christopher Nolan captured the concept of time. Along with that, he paired his movie with soundtrack from Hans Zimmer. The music was so beautiful and fitting that it had my attention right from the beginning of the movie.

Not just the plot, the graphics were totally amazing. I was so confused and in awe throughout the entire movie. I have nothing more to say but just pictures. BEAUTIFUL pictures.

Can you believe it? The sky are filled with frozen clouds.

    Dr. Miller's Planet

Gargantua, claimed to be the oldest black hole.

Despite having created such a beauty, there was little character development throughout the entire movie. Well, it is definitely understood due to the time difference. Despite so, there were at least some changes from the beginning to the end of the movie, of how Cooper changed from wanting to explore to making his return home a priority and of how Murph changed and aged throughout the years.

As an overall, I give it an 8/10 for it's remarkable script, music, plot, graphics but loses 2 for its hopefulness in scientific development (I'm very cynical, yes) and its lack of character development.

    Christopher Nolan, GOOD JOB.

    n. the awareness of the smallness of your perspective, by which you couldn’t possibly draw any meaningful conclusions at all, about the world or the past or the complexities of culture, because although your life is an epic and unrepeatable anecdote, it still only has a sample size of one, and may end up being the control for a much wilder experiment happening in the next room.

    The person behind this blog

She is a 21 year-old awkwardly enthusiastic individual who loves the idea of photography and is constantly looking for opportunities to travel around the world.

She loves lounging the around the house watching TV shows and movies in her pajamas while sipping tea (English breakfast is the way to go).

If you wish to make her happy, buy her candy, but do not lure her into dark alleys with those. Also, she finds it stupid to refer to herself as a third person.
