    AXE Anarchy Island Getaway

Hello there ! I won't ask how is your day, instead I would ask you to smile. (:
Tomorrow's my birthday and I'm gonna tell you all about it once my birthday week is over !
Okay, so I have been browsing through the nuffnang website for some competition when I stumbled upon this great opportunity to head to the Carribeans (provided if i win, of course) !

Basically, today's blog post would be my attempts to be suave and charm the opposite sex. HAHA !
I wouldn't dare to guarantee that my tips would work on everyone but hey, it's worth a try right? :D
    Alright, here I go !

    1. Dress up
Girls, when you want a guy to notice you, you don't put on a chunky sweater with your shorts and all your hair tied up into a messy bun.

Dress up ! Put on clothes that accentuate your curves (not flaunt them like ...). You want to attract attention, not the bad type (if you know what I mean..). If you require me to explain all types of clothing for every type of body shape, I might just take 24 hours. So here's a link of a website which i found helpful, http://www.channel4.com/4beauty/style/dress-for-your-body-shape

Here's my attempt to look good.
And yes, I have man hands (don't judge me)

    2. Talk to him.
As much as girls are shy to talk to the opposite sex, guys are too.
I'm pretty sure that every guy would appreciate a girl who talks to them first.
Just simple say a "hi" or "goodbye" to the guy. If he reciprocates, he notices you
Introduce yourself to him, learn about him more and don't be afraid to show him who you are too.

Like one of my sharing sessions with my friend

As for this picture, we were comparing the amount of plush toys we have.
    And clearly, he won. D:
    NOOOOO.

    3. Be his friend !
Before jumping into a relationship, it is best to be his friend first where you guys get comfortable with each other (not to the point where you fart in each other's presence).
Being his friend will help you to get to know him more and he will get to know you more.
So when that happens, awkwardness can be avoided.
A theory which is tested and proven (by me).
I mean, you don't want to be in a relationship that awkward right? D:  (it is extremely tiring)
    *awkward turtle*

Just so you know, this hand gesture signifies awkward turtle
If you don't like it, maybe this will seem better.

Wong Fu production's awkward turtle. HEHE
    Okay, getting back on track.
In a nutshell, be his buddy so he can feel comfortable with you.
No awkwardness and thus, you guys can get to know each other better.

Here's a picture of me and my friend taking random pictures during our Singapore trip. (:

    3. Do things with him !
I know not many girls are open to activities that guys are into like watching football matches in mamak stalls, rock climbing, laser tag, paintball, etc.
But hey ! It's never wrong to try it out and have fun along the way.
Don't rant, and complain, and talk non-stop, and bitch about the activity.
It would feel as if you're a "wet blanket", putting out excitement.
AND YOU DON'T WANT THAT. (:   (saying this with your best interest in my heart)
If he is interested in rock climbing for instance, invite him to climb with you !
Being adventurous and open to experiences are traits that make a girl extremely attractive.
Along the way, don't complain and just enjoy it with him.
if you enjoy it, he will enjoy it too and you guys will have fun together.
Do things that both of you enjoy as well to bond over it. (:

    4. Be comfortable with yourself.
The most important tip of all is to actually love yourself and be comfortable.
Every girl's secret weapon is not her boobs or her *ahem* but her confidence !
Her confidence in her body, personality and everything that comes along with her.
Guys, tell me if i'm wrong.
You would find a girl who is comfortable with her looks and her own personality extremely attractive, aye?
    Girls,
Love yourself ! Even if there's an imperfection, learn to love it.
That imperfection of yours is what makes you unique !
Whether it's your quirky laugh or your small physique, love it because nobody will love it if you don't.
I mean who wants to be with a girl who doesn't love herself? A guy wouldn't want to assure you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to tell you that you're beautiful. It's tiring ! D:
    So love yourself.

    Me being confident. LOLOLLOLOL.

    5. Deodorant
Okay, so maybe being comfortable with yourself works but smelling good should also be part of it.
Every guy smells (infact, everyone can smell).
Smelling good is a key to attraction.
Personally, I feel repulsed by guys who smell like they just woke up and forgot to bathe for the entire week.
So invest in some deodorant, remove that filthy smell that lingers around you.
If you wish, get perfume as well. (do not put on too much perfume though, it is also a BIG NO NO).

    6. Don't be pushy/clingy/puppy-doggy
    Girls,
Never ever ever forever ever, be cling/pushy/puppy-doggy

    *Wink wink*

    Don't know why?
Imagine your boyfriend, pushing you around and clinging on to you wherever you go.
Following you everywhere to make sure that you don't talk to another guy.
Now, imagine the guys as you and you as the guy.
Can you see the fear in their eyes?

    Alright, there you go.
That's all I can think of so far.

    OH !
and here's a video by bubzbeauty in which I think is helpful as well.

I think I deserve this vacation because since I haven't been able to have the chance to travel over these few years. I have been stuck in Kuala Lumpur and nowhere else. This trip would be a learning experience for me and it would greatly increase my knowledge of the world (i'm like a frog under a shell)

    n. the awareness of the smallness of your perspective, by which you couldn’t possibly draw any meaningful conclusions at all, about the world or the past or the complexities of culture, because although your life is an epic and unrepeatable anecdote, it still only has a sample size of one, and may end up being the control for a much wilder experiment happening in the next room.

    The person behind this blog

She is a 21 year-old awkwardly enthusiastic individual who loves the idea of photography and is constantly looking for opportunities to travel around the world.

She loves lounging the around the house watching TV shows and movies in her pajamas while sipping tea (English breakfast is the way to go).

If you wish to make her happy, buy her candy, but do not lure her into dark alleys with those. Also, she finds it stupid to refer to herself as a third person.
