    Frankenweenie (review)

    Le poster !

Tim Burton is back with a punch !

    Plot:
This is a story about an intelligent boy, Victor(Charlie Tahan) who lost his pet dog, Sparky in an accident. Being depressed, he was inspired and learnt a way in science class to bring his bestfriend back to life. He succeeds but he now has to hide Sparky, away from the world. As Sparky gets out, his classmates found out and started threatening him. The classmates got their hands on the formula to bring animals back to life and caused chaos in town.

Sparky, Victor and Mr Frankenstein in the dining room.

    What I think:
First thing first, the movie is so adorable that I might just melt.
This is a heartwarming story with an amazing concept behind it.
GREAT JOB Tim Burton ! *salutes*

    The story.
What else more to say? It's so heartwarming to see a boy fight to bring his dog back to life.
    So sad and so touching.
    :')
The story is not too long or too short.
    Just nice.
The plot is well made with certain unexpected turn of events.
Tailored for the mass audience, I would say it is even fit for children to watch !

    The effects
Well, it is definitely very plasticine like.
Just like every other Tim Burton movie.
I would say it's his signature and I would not complain further.
I am not a big fan of this because it feels fake
but hey, who am I to complain about his signature?

    The characters.
The characters are creepy and adorable in a way.
The voice actors placed life into these character and worked them well !
The characters also had their original creeps and characteristics from the classic horror movies (back in time)
This maintains the standard of it and still made it fun.

This movie has the classic Edgar, Mr and Mrs Frankenstein.

Victor's science teacher who inspired him also inspired me !

I know the teacher looks creepy but he's gooooood. (Just like every other evil scientist)

And of course, i'm not going to leave out sparky.
He's too adorable to be left out !

Oh come on, look at that,
HOW CAN YOU SAY NO TO THAT?

Great movie, great moral values, great story, great dog. :')

    n. the awareness of the smallness of your perspective, by which you couldn’t possibly draw any meaningful conclusions at all, about the world or the past or the complexities of culture, because although your life is an epic and unrepeatable anecdote, it still only has a sample size of one, and may end up being the control for a much wilder experiment happening in the next room.

    The person behind this blog

She is a 21 year-old awkwardly enthusiastic individual who loves the idea of photography and is constantly looking for opportunities to travel around the world.

She loves lounging the around the house watching TV shows and movies in her pajamas while sipping tea (English breakfast is the way to go).

If you wish to make her happy, buy her candy, but do not lure her into dark alleys with those. Also, she finds it stupid to refer to herself as a third person.
