The tickets !
Got tickets again for movies ! This time, it's Paranormal Activity 4.
I shall not include many pictures/scenes to look out for those who doesn't particularly like horror.
Plot:
This is a sequel of when Hunter was kidnapped by his Aunt. This time, they are back and they are in a new neighborhood, looking for another kid to possess and another family to kill. (nothing much to add, to avoid ruining the movie for you guys).
What I think:
YAWN.
Hands down, this won the bad horror movie award of the year.
Okay, maybe not that bad.
But hell, I didn't quite enjoy watching it.
Yes, it does scare you here and there, give you chills and still has that documentary element.
But don't you think it's getting old?
The story I would rate it as okay because it's the story that gives you the chills.
The fact that a boy can cause so much harm. CREEEEEEPY.
BUT ! yes, there's a but.
The story is a little... what you call it, uhm... slow & boring & long & stale? like old bread...
The effects? Well, come on.
It's paranormal activity where they are meant to look like a documentary so...
Kudos to those who really made it look somehow like a documentary (although we already know it isn't)
Purely fictional.
The ghosts.
Juvenile.
yes, it has scary eyes and scary teeth.
It chews on people and drags people around the room.
Okay. Seen enough.
Can't they do better?
Actors.
Gotta admit, Kathryn Newton (Alex) is beautiful ! And that's what i've been paying attention to most.
The kids in the movies, adorable !
and Katie Featherston (Katie).
LOL. She's like the mascot of paranormal activity 4.
"At this point, Katie is to the Paranormal Activity franchise what Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer is to Christmas." - Mark Ramsey
So that's it !
If you really want to watch it, brace yourselves.
;D
Rating: 2/5

Good review Michelle. I didn't hate it as much as everybody else did, but it is coming to a point now where this series needs to do something with itself, or it's most likely going to be dead by the 6th movie.
Aww thanks ! The franchise is no longer a hype and yes, i agree with you, it's mostly likely going to be dead by the 6th. :D
